Hi all, I’d just like to say “thanks” on behalf of all New Zealanders for the Le Show online episodes. I’ve been enjoying Harry’s work on The Simpsons for the last 18-19 years, and finally getting to hear his radio show is just fantastic. They should keep me occupied, and informed, for some time. |

Hey, Drewbacca! Glad you’ve discovered Harry’s radio work. I used to go out to Los Angeles periodically to work and would stay for a couple of months at a time, always being sure to catch Harry’s show on KCRW on Sunday mornings. I’d go back home and dream that there would be a day when technology would enable me to hear the show wherever I lived (as my stodgy National Public Radio station did not carry it), and, lucky me, my dream eventually came true. Harry is the original blogger, only when he started “blogging” 21 years ago there was no Internet, so he used the radio to do what many political bloggers are doing today. For the record, I’m a big fan of two of your native sons, The Flight of the Conchords. There’s a lot of history in those archives. One only wishes there were some way to hear the shows prior to 1995. |
