Folks, can we lose the spash page now that the House of Blues gig is over.

Some of us flush cookies whenever we exit firefox and have to see the darned thing every time we connect to the web site.

By the way, at least on my browser, you have to click on the link “Continue to HarryShearer.com” twice in order to get to the main page.

Every software and web developer in the world should pick up a copy of Dave Platt’s Why Software Sucks. . . and what you can do about it and read it from cover to cover because all software sucks. Including mine.

Got it… But um what about clients… Clients should read that book too.

Not to mention, we had about 30 minutes to get it up and online too… without any mention ever of a splash page before that point. hehe. It makes things a little different when your running ruby on rails and not standard old static HTML sites.

Not sure why you had to click twice though. Our versions of Firefox did not do that.
